Efficiently-scheduled schemes, often integrated with refuse services, collect segregated or co-mingled recyclables from sacks or wheeled bins. Verdant is also managing more and more local authority HWRCs, implementing operational improvements to increase their appeal and efficiency.

With HWRCs playing an increasingly important role in recycling strategies, Verdant’s service focuses on safe site design, modern compaction and transport equipment, and financial incentives for staff, helping achieve recycling rates of over 70%, amongst the best in the country.

Verdant’s knowledge, flexibility and forward-thinking approach places a premium on listening and responding to local needs. That’s why Verdant devised the innovative Green Waste Club service, a budget-neutral scheme used by several authorities to compost green waste.
